报告人1简介

Bas van Ruijven is group leader of the Sustainable Service Systems (S3) group in the Energy, Climate, and Environment (ECE) program at IIASA and co-chair of the International Committee On New Integrated Climate change assessment Scenarios (ICONICS). He holds a PhD in Energy Science (2008) from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Dr. van Ruijven's research interests cover a wide range of topics, from energy and technology scenarios to energy transitions in developing countries and the impacts of climate change. Dr. van Ruijven played a leading role in several Integrated Assessment Model comparison projects, such as the Asian Modeling Exercise (AME) and the Latin America Modeling Project (LAMP). He has been a lead author for UNEP's Global Environmental Outlook 4 and the Global Energy Assessment (GEA).
报告人2简介:


Shaohui Zhang is a research scholar in the Pollution Management Research Group of the IIASA Energy, Climate, and Environment Program. In his current role, he leads and coordinates the data quality assessment of the GAINS model and oversees model coupling between GAINS and other IAMs. His research interests focus on the development and application of the GAINS and MESSAGEix integrated assessment models, technology and policy assessment for energy, climate, and environmental pollution. He received his PhD (2016) from the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University, Netherlands. He has led several impactful research projects funded by prestigious organizations such as the World Bank, IEA, NSFC, and the Climate Imperative Foundation. His work has been recognized with awards, for example, he is a co-recipient of the Frontiers Planet Prize 2023.
